The Wall of Names will be unveiled at the start of the conference so family, friends, co-workers and supporters will have the opportunity to see their officer's name engraved on what will eventually be part of a permanent memorial wall.
SBS will honor the officer of any family member attending for the first time, regardless of End of Watch date. For your officer to be honored, you must register to attend the events by the deadline date.
The Blue Family Events include a Memorial Service and Blue Light Vigil where the nation will honor our fallen heroes who died by suicide.
The Blue Light Vigil will be held on Saturday, July 23.
The Memorial Service will be held on the afternoon/evening of Sunday, July 24.
SBS will host workshops for survivors, giving them hope for tomorrow, and introduce them to others who truly understand the journey that lies ahead.
For children 6 and older, there will be a Kids Program on Saturday, July 23. The kids will travel offsite with law enforcement and SBS staff so the parents can attend the sessions.
